Near the top of the Hill at Pearl's Hill Terrace, there exists a few vintage blocks that were probably used by the police but now houses start-ups of the creative nature. Found even a boutique hair stylist. Interesting place to be housed in.

Green Patch Now

It is rare to have a green patch of land now in Singapore. I had always wanted to capture this scene besides Paya Lebar runway whenever I passed this place while trying to by-pass the traffic on TPE in the morning. I guess I better take a picture now before it transforms into some industrial buildings.

This type of playground was usually found in the developed countries when I was growing up. It is type that I would read in books or seen on TV. How times and money changed all these. With a more affluent society and having the basic needs covered, its time to play.

Bencoloon Street is slowly evolving into a walking-cycling zone after the MRT station is built. The 3 car lanes are now reduced to 2 and the bus lane dominates.

Big Shot

My bag was returned sans the new lithium battery on my laptop. The irony was that the other battery in the side compartment of the laptop case was not removed. I can't remember if I lost any Euros. Still, it is a nice feeling that have the bag back with most of its contents intact - including the cough mixtures and nasal spray but no water in my thermal flask.  Somehow, I had gotten used to my old spare laptop. Its good to type on the wider keyboard and read from a bigger screen again.  Whilst the bag return closes a chapter, there is still a sense of loss which is difficult to explain. I guess, its just to go forward and live life again.
