Last day of KTM train.

I needed a historical shot of an outgoing KTM train from Tanjong Pagar. I got it on the very last day at 6.10pm on an overhead pedestrian bridge next to Bukit Merah Bus Intechange.

Good bye Train.
This was taken on the Nikon D3 with 35-70mm, f2.8. I had another chance with an incoming train. I decided then that I would should it in film on a Leica compact with 40mm f2.8 lens. It will be uploaded once the roll is finished.

In Coming Train 30 Jun 2011

It took me until the last 2nd day to realise that the KTM train will not rumble through Singapore.

I had limited time and made my way to Jalan Kilang and on overhead bridge, took the following pictures of the 5.40pm incoming train to Tanjong Pagar station.

Up close and personal.

Rumbling its way to Tanjong Pagar

I moved to another site hoping to get another picture. I should have stayed at the same location as there was a 6pm outgoing from Tanjong Pagar. Perhaps aonther day ... but there was only 1 day left.

Penang May 2011

A short break to Penang to use up the mileage, rest, EAT, take some street photography using B&W film (still not developed yet) and eat. The place reminds me about growing up in the 70s and 80s.

Grandeur.
