Upgrade

I was returning to Petrajaya after 2 weeks to do a pitch to a Fortune 500 company for a British software that I am representing regionally. The hotel upgraded my booking to have club lounge access. I know my British counterpart would have been thrilled if he was here.

Even though it was just drinks and cookies, it was nice.

I was in Beijing in late July and booked a room at the Grand Mecure with my Accor Hotels card. Guess what, I got upgraded again! Incredibly,  this time to a Executive Suite just because I added breakfast. I guess members has its privileges! Or, always travel in July, the low season?
